Like 99% of other reviewers here, I needed a new cable because the £15 Apple ones are basically a con they break so quickly, and the ones found in £1 Land last only a good few weeks too. I needed to stop wrapping my cables up in tape, it gets dirty and doesn't look the part either.
The reason I choose Anker is because I have many of their other accessories, and can trust the quality, as well as a fantastic 18-month warranty.
I have had the cable for a few weeks now, and it is working how it is supposed too. No annoying "unsupported" errors, and no erratic charging. Just a cable. The packaging is also great too! (Take a look at the photos I uploaded)

REVIEW: Very glad that i bought this wire. I bought it in the 6ft version, but was so impressed that i came back and bought it in the 3ft too. I'm now after a 1ft one but they dont sell them. The colour is exactly like the image, gold and vibrant. The wire itself is also exactly like in the picture, it feels good and doesn't have that 'It could break any second' feel. Unlike many third party wires that say 'unsupported wire' after a few weeks of use, this has never let me down. Ive had the wire for ages now and works with all my plugs, laptops and devices.

This item is such a great buy. How many times have you needed to charge your phone or iPad but still want to use it while lying in bed or on the sofa but the charging cable provided is just too short? It happens to me daily anyway!
I've bought cheap cables in the past and they have always failed on me.
This cable however is from a globally trusted brand, and I already have several of their battery packs.The cable is the perfect length for comfortably using your device while charging. The braided texture feels nice in the hand and feels far stronger than the thin plastic on the apple own brand cables. This feels strong and robust as if it won't fray like all my other apple cables have done.

Bought this cable to connect my phone to the USB port in my car. I wanted a cable that matched the black / grey colour of the interior and could also be bent out of the way of the gear stick without damaging the cable. This has worked great and works very well with my iPhone 5s. The cable feels far more robust than the standard apple lightning cables so hopefully will last for quite a while. I have the standard apple leather case on my phone and this cable works fine with the case still on, unlike some others. I use a magnetic air vent holder for my phone in the car and when leaving my car (and taking my phone with me) I then leave the cable stuck to the magnet so it's easy to reach when I return to my car.
I needed an additional car charger and iPhone cable for my personal car as I was getting fed up swapping my existing charging unit between my car and works vehicle.
I know Anker usually make decent electrical products so thought I would spend a little more on a decent cable to hopefully last a long time.
The item was delivered in a neat presentation box which straight away oozes quality.
The braided flex appears to be very strong and should do a better job of avoiding dirty marks unlike the OEM iPhone cable.
The USB and lightening connectors are equally as strong and should hold up well to in car abuse.
I like the addition of a Velcro cable tidy being included so I can coil it up and throw it in my computer bag without it wrapping around all the other components in there.
Apple needs to listen up here. So here's me with my brand new iPhone SE fresh out of the box. I look underneath. and find my charging cable. However, when it's unraveled the thing, it's about as long as a 10 year olds peepee canon. When I was laying in bed I had to hang over the side for dear phone life as the plug is not a close a location as the cable requires, which i'm assuming is on our forehead. But when this cable arrived, I felt like the chain had been cut, I felt like forest gump charging my phone as I ran around my room without a care in the world. I can now depress myself at the opposite end of my bed as I scoll facebook comparing it to my own weak social life. It looks good to. Thanks Anker

The reason for writing this review and giving it a 5 star rating is this... Suddenly (a few months into owning one of these cables) it stopped working. I tried it with different Apple wall adapters, plugging it into different computers and also trying to charge different devices. I couldn't do anything to make this cable work. I contacted Anker late that night and had a reply by the next day, they asked a few questions. Two days after my e-mail to them was sent another one was in the post and on its way to me. As any product there will be slight faults or issues and I was unlucky enough to get one, Anker was very apologetic and very professional. The reason I like Anker products is because of the high build quality and then great customer service that they have! Well done Anker!
I brought this product as im fed up with the normal lightning cables breaking because of bending at the end. I've only just got this product but am loving the feel of the wire and it already feels more durable as expected. No issues with charging as of yet and I was particularly surprised to open up the parcel with the cable coming with a Velcro cable tie. As a customer who judges products equally on their performance and looks but the little things included in packaging, Instructions or accessories like this.
